How is altruism different from compassion
Compassion has three different expressions.Helping someone else may or may not be directly beneficial to you.It is, in a sense, an automatic mirroring of another's emotion, like tearing up at a friend's sadness.Each type of altruism has a different motivation behind it.Altruism is the unselfish concern for other people—doing things simply out of a desire to help, not because you feel obligated to out of duty, loyalty, or religious reasons.
